That is a beautiful picture and I love your post regarding it. It’s hard to think of our elders as “our age” or younger….but that’s our past. Our roots. Where we came from.

What a great picture. I was lucky to have known both my maternal great grandparents (into my late teens). I do remember a few photos of them as a young couple that I had forgotten about until just now. Thanks.
